Booking Advice, Guidelines & Behaviour
Treatments
- "Treatments and facilities are not suitable for under-12s (except some nail treatments)
- All times quoted include treatment, preparation and consultation
- All prices are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without prior notice
- Regretfully, late arrival for your appointment will result in a reduced treatment time or cancellation
Bookings
- We highly recommend booking your appointment well in advance to avoid disappointment: but walk-in appointments may also be available if we have space to fit you in
- To secure your appointments we will ask for deposits for all treatments at the time of booking. You can choose not to pay a deposit but if another client requests that time and pays a deposit then your appointment will be cancelled
- We will insist on pre-payment for all appointments on Sundays and for appointments before 11am and after 5pm on all other days
- We offer a 20% student discount off any single individual treatment with a valid NUS card. Proof of a student card will be required before every treatment
- Any discounts offered are not available on combination treatments or packages as they are already discounted and can't be used with any other special offers available
Cancellations and Changes
- At least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment time is required if you are unable to attend or would like to change the booking day or time
- No refunds of deposits or pre-payments are given on treatments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance
- If we have to cancel an appointment on the day due to a therapist being unable to come to work, we will offer you the option of rescheduling the appointment with another therapist on the same day but we may not be able to offer you the same time. If you are unable to change the timing of your appointment we will offer you another day
Arrival at the salon
- For your comfort we suggest you arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start of your treatment. This will give you time to complete a consultation form if required, relax with a (non-alcoholic) drink and have time to settle in your room or nail chair. Payment in full will be requested before the start of treatment
- If you arrive late your treatment duration may be cut down, not be done at the scheduled time or, if you are more than 15 minutes late, possibly cancelled completely if treatments for subsequent clients would be delayed
Behaviour
- In order to maintain a peaceful environment we ask that mobile phones be turned off or put into silent mode in our salon area
- Alcohol should not be consumed prior to treatments
- Any behaviour judged by the therapist to be rude or inappropriate will result in the treatment being terminated immediately and will still be charged in full
- Massage treatments will only proceed where the client has underwear on
Expiry dates
- Our vouchers are valid for a maximum of 6 months from the date of issue. For special offers the expiry date might be much shorter
- We offer course to some of our regular clients who will benefit from regular treatments. All our courses are valid for a maximum of 12 months from the date of the first treatment
- We are a stockist for Elemis, Environ and CACI products. Our suppliers have assured us that the dates on the products are "sell by" dates and that their products are fully effective beyond those dates if used within their recommended homecare timescale (usually 3 months)
